Ayama Studios presents a playful Y2K-inspired look in vibrant turquoise and yellow. The fitted, ruched camisole features sculptural draping and contrasting yellow straps that extend into the coordinating low-rise shorts. Finished with a layered belt detail and bold color blocking, the look captures a nostalgic early-2000s aesthetic with a fresh, contemporary edge.
A retro-inspired streetwear look with a playful ’70s/early-’80s feel. The matching orange floral crop top and distressed shorts create a bold coordinated set, while the contrasting red fitted tee and floral mini skirt add a complementary pop of color. Styled against a vintage green car, the scene has a nostalgic, carefree summer fashion editorial aesthetic.
This look has a soft Y2K-meets-retro aesthetic, featuring a fitted white ruched top with delicate pink piping and elongated tie details. The coordinating high-rise shorts continue the white-and-pink color story, creating a playful, feminine silhouette. Shot through the glass of a storefront against an urban New York backdrop, the image feels candid and nostalgic—like a vintage fashion editorial captured in the city.
AYAMA: COLLECTION 003
Fashion gets a wash.
AYAMA returns with Collection 003, the latest chapter from designer Maya Goldberg, and this time the presentation came with a little New York attitude.
Kicking off NYFW on September 2nd, 2026 & Taking over the Lower East Side, AYAMA transformed a vintage car wash into an unexpected fashion playground—models stepped into the street in the new collection as classic cars, cocktails, music, and summer energy set the scene.
Collection 003 expands the AYAMA universe with swimwear and ready-to-wear, exploring the tension between softness and structure through spandex, leather, sculptural silhouettes, and tactile textures.
It’s sensual. It’s playful. It’s unapologetically downtown.
Rather than simply showing clothes, Goldberg created an experience—one that feels distinctly New York and distinctly AYAMA.
Collection 003 is fashion outside the expected.
